Connection made easy

Some IQ8 Microinverters come with integrated MC4 connectors. This eliminates the need for adapter cables to maximize reliability with fewer connection points and faster installation. Be sure to know which model comes with the integrated MC4 connector and which model requires an adapter cable. Model numbers containing "2" will require the adapter cable. Model numbers beginning with "M" will include an integrated MC4 connection.

Constant Energy

There isn't a single point of failure. If a system with a central inverter fails, solar production will come to a halt. With one microinverter per module, solar generation continues even if a microinverter fails.

If a microinverter fails, the remaining microinverters will continue to produce energy.

If the central inverter fails, the system will cease to produce energy.

Maximum Energy

Each solar panel functions autonomously with IQ Microinverters, ensuring maximum power per module regardless of obstacles like leaves, dirt, snow, or cloudy days. In contrast, central inverter systems restrict their production to the least efficient module.

With microinverters, solar modules work independently. Energy production is not limited to the least efficient module.

With a central inverter, the energy production is dependent on the least efficient module.
