The Xantrex Lithium-Ion Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery uses UL2580/UL16421 certified cells. Equipped with redundant safety features, the Xantrex Lithium-Ion Battery is the safest in the market today. Specifically designed to withstand the harsh operating environments of marine and vehicle applications, the Xantrex Lithium-Ion Battery lasts up to 6,000 cycles compared to a traditional lead acid or AGM battery, which typically lasts 400–500 cycles.
The 105Ah battery is IP65 rated as well as tested to UL 458 vibration for marine applications. The ability to stack 4 batteries in parallel allows for creating a larger Ah system when there is no single space large enough for the larger Ah batteries. The Xantrex Lithium-Ion battery offers exceptional power density and is also available with a heating blanket option if installation is outside the main cabin.
