All SolaDeck weather-tight enclosures are rated for NEMA 3R use. They provide a flashed roof penetration to transition outdoor system wiring to interior house wiring. All have a ground lug and universal DIN rail to mount fuse holders or terminal blocks. The base back has five roof-deck knockouts - (3) 1/2-inch, (1) 3/4-inch, and (1) 1-inch and the base riser has dimples to center a punch or drill for entry conduit or fittings.
The 0799-5G is listed to UL 1741 for Photovoltaic Combiner Enclosures and can be used to combine or pass through wiring of both AC and DC circuits. The 18 gauge galvanized 90 steel and powder coated finish provides a professional look.
