The S-5-Q clamp was specifically developed to accommodate metal roof panels having a large, round bulb seam (see image below) configuration up to 29 mm. It will also fit smaller bulb-shaped profiles that were not seamed correctly, allowing the seam to be utilized without modification. The clamp's two-piece design allows it to be easily installed anywhere along the length of the rib, making installation a snap! Just place the clamp on the seam, position the insert piece, and tighten the setscrews.
The S-5-Q is designed for heavy-duty applications such as snow retention. S-5-Q can be used to mount
ColorGard® to bulb-shaped profiles, providing the strongest snow retention system on the market. The S-5-Q clamp comes complete with two [2] 3/8" x 24 x 0.80" round nose set screws and one [1] M8-1.25 x 16mm Hex Flange Bolt. All hardware is stainless steel. The insert is aluminum. The S-5-Q clamp has been tested for load-to-failure results by an independent lab and is perfect for use with snow retention systems like ColorGard.
